What do buffalo have to do with America's particle physics and accelerator laboratory and photography?
Fermilab is two towns over from where I grew up. I had never been inside. They host a photowalk that allows you to go inside buildings that are off-limits to the public. I was lucky to be chosen to join this year's walk. A buffalo herd has been on the property since 1969. Hence, the hat tip to them in one of the buildings.
It was quite interesting and a unique photographic experience.
