Being inspired by art.
I went to the Art Institute of Chicago recently. It's always good to spend some time being inspired by the masters. The Gustave Caillebotte exhibit was incredible; seeing his sketches and how photography influenced his later work was interesting to learn about. What I was most inspired by was his use of light.
With that in mind, I will be more aware of the light when creating new images with my camera.
If you've never been to the Art Institute in Chicago, I highly recommend it.
Love this one!
It is an amazing exhibit of his work. Thanks!
That piece always amazed me. The light reflection of the scraped floor looks real every time I see it!
It really is incredible. Thanks, Richard.
What a great place to visit. I also love the MCA! Have you been there?
I have but it's been quite a few years. Time to go back! Thanks, Jane!
