Coolest place I ever celebrated my birthday? On an expedition ship in Svalbard.

While I've only been to Svalbard & Antarctica once, they both live in my heart and soul. Impressions were made and I still hold out hope for returning. Never say never.

The Poloar Opposites book project came out of these trips. A few years after the Antarctic trip, the idea came to me as I went through images, yet again. Are there better polar photographers out there? Yep. Does it matter? Nope.
